Thoughts on the weekend and more

Initial thought: I hope it doesn't suck.

Secondary thoughts: I hope I feel better tomorrow than I do today. Otherwise it is seriously going to suck.

My parents went to Wilmington, DE/Philadelphia, PA for a couple of days for a family friend's wedding. My sisters are home with my aunt but I have to go tomorrow to spend the day with them until my parents get home. Maybe it won't suck. One has to have hope.

Holley and I are going to Coventry next Friday. We're gonna hit Big Fun and I'll probably leave broke, or at least with a collection of stuff I seriously don't need. More sock monkeys, more zombies, more kitsch. The kind of stuff I love that everyone else (except, apparently, the owner of Big Fun) thinks is hokey.

Tonight's agenda includes a) staying awake b) watching the Def Leppard/Taylor Swift episode of Crossroads and c) watching the most recent bad movie to come in, Hell Comes to Frogtown.

Others may not think President-Elect Obama's choice of Chief of Staff is all that great, but I'm a big fan of Rahm Emanuel. Seriously, how can you not love someone that ends conversations with "Fuck you!" I think he's quite handsome too. I won't mind looking at him for the next 8 years.

To close, here's a pic of the kids.

  1. I hope your weekend is non-sucky. I have been trying all evening to come up with a kindness story and I got nothing .. how sad is that??

  2. This is lame, but I too think Rahm is a major hottie.

  3. How did the weekend go?

    I think his (obama's) choice was a good one--yang for obama's yin.
